Job Description

  • As a Performance Partner-Global Assembly Expert (f/m/div.), you are a consultant and trainer for assembly processes on-site with a strong problem-solving and improving focus.
  • Your core expertise lies in assembly processes where you drive continuous improvements. This includes implementing and advancing methods for increasing quality and productivity, such as 5S, 8D, LPA, lean line design, shop-floor management.
  • You act self-organized, deciding on the suitable method and advising colleagues on how to avoid issues and maintain standards.
  • You leverage your extensive experience in specific assembly processes like pressing, EC-screw technology, vision systems, transfer systems, and material handling.
  • Your contributions ensure high operational efficiency and quality within our assembly lines.
  • You are part of our global “Performance Partner Team at Mobile Hydraulics” which makes a significant contribution to shape the future by increase the profitability and the competitiveness of the international production network.

Qualifications

  • Education: professional 3 years training/apprenticeship in an assembly area or a comparable qualification, further specialization as a "Meister" and/or a bachelor’s degree required
  • Personality and Working Practice: strong problem-solving focus, high willingness to communicate and to train other colleagues, open-minded for other cultures, self-organized
  • Experience and Knowledge: minimum of 5 years of professional experience; shop-floor management in assembly; driving methods for increasing quality and productivity (e.g., 5S, 8D, LPA, line balancing); experience in processes for pressing, EC-screw technology, vision systems, transfer systems, and material handling; experience in the manufacturing of MAT components and in installing and programming standard robots, cobots and/or gantry-type automation solutions; the ability to identify potential for further automation applications, methods time management (MTM) at least basic knowledge
  • Languages: fluent English, additional languages are an advantage
  • Travel: High willingness to travel (>50% per year)
