Job Description
Bosch Management Consulting (BMC/IC) is the internal management consultancy of the Bosch-Group. We focus on strategic inhouse projects that drive the effective transformation and continued development of our businesses within Bosch. Our consulting teams support senior management within the Bosch Group on strategic, organizational, and operational topics and provide support to improve the business performance of our customers substantially and sustainably.
At BMC/IC you work in cross functional teams in close collaboration with our internal customers on complex projects and provide impactful and tailored solutions for the top management across the Bosch-Group. - As Director Consultant you lead consulting projects incl. the BMC/IC team and manage the key stakeholders on customer side.
- You help identify opportunities to address the business needs and enhance the capabilities to achieve long-term competitiveness and profitable growth.
- You scope consulting projects jointly with the responsible partner and the customer.
- You drive the overall analytical approach in line with strategic overarching objectives of the Bosch-Group.
- You perform structured and in-depth development of concepts & decisions.
- You develop measures in cooperation with our customers.
- You challenge and derive conclusions and provide impactful and feasible recommendations to our internal clients.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university studies in business administration, economics, engineering or industrial engineering or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: extensive professional experience in a strategy consulting firm; proven track record as a project leader in a project-driven environment; expertise in strategy, supply chain management (e.g. logistics, purchasing), operational excellence and restructuring; leadership experience in operations is an advantage
- Personality and Working Practice: you have proven analytical skills, the ability to structure complex situations and present clearly derived conclusions; you have an entrepreneurial spirit and strong creativity in problem solving; your excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization, your customer orientation as well as your ability to work in a team and your “can do” attitude distinguish you
- Languages: business fluent in written and spoken English; comprehensive knowledge of German is an advantage
