Job Description

Are you ready to redefine quality and risk mitigation in the energy market as a strategic visionary? As a central interface between our customers and the Bosch organization, you will actively shape the future of our global large-scale projects. Here, you combine strategic foresight with technical expertise to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and proactively manage risks across the entire customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • In your position you will establish and lead a central organization focused on securing and reducing risks in global large-scale projects, making a significant contribution to our Business Plan 2029 and beyond.
  • Proactively, you will mitigate contractual and technical risks of large-scale customer projects from the acquisition phase, while also developing and implementing warranty extensions and safeguarding instruments.
  • In addition, leading interdisciplinary, intercultural, and international task forces, you will guide escalations and cross-functional teams through quality crises, commercial customer risks, and force majeure events. From these experiences, you will derive and implement improvements for future product generations, initiating necessary changes in organizational structure and process flows, and skillfully negotiate reimbursement claims.
  • Representing results and measures to C-level customers and end customers in the energy market, you will develop negotiation strategies and lead high-level discussions.
  • Furthermore, you will establish and implement the customer quality role in the energy market, leveraging automotive processes to monitor field quality performance, resolve incidents, and review contractual implications
  • Last but not least: supporting sales teams, you will ensure a deep understanding of market-specific quality expectations and customer needs, fostering a customer-centric quality strategy for PS-EY.

Qualifications

  • Education: successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drive Technology, Supply Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Business Administration with a strong technical understanding
  • Experience and Knowledge: extensive experience with energy market customers and PS automotive processes and organization; a large network within Bosch (e.g., Sales, Legal, QM, FQB); proven ability to drive systematic problem solving (PS Coach)
  • Personality and Working Practice: you communicate excellently across divisions, functions, and all hierarchy levels, demonstrating high resilience in critical situations and strong ownership of cross-functional topics. You define your division’s contribution to overall success, set ambitious goals, and use resources in a targeted manner; You recognize market trends, take risks transparently and focus on sustainable growth; You will provide team members with orientation, encourage them to help shape the team and highlight successes; You attract diverse talents, combine performance with team cohesion, and use challenges as opportunities for development; your demonstrate your role model function in everyday actions
  • Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English and German
