Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Intern to join our automotive parts team in Gerlingen-Schillerhöhe, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sales environment while working with a collaborative team dedicated to delivering quality automotive solutions. As a Sales Intern, you will support our sales operations, develop your professional skill set, and contribute to building strong customer relationships within the automotive parts industry.
- Assist in identifying and engaging potential customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Support the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales documentation for automotive parts products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software
- Conduct product research and develop knowledge of our automotive parts catalog to effectively communicate with customers
- Participate in customer follow-ups and support the sales cycle from initial contact through order fulfillment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to team success
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in organizing sales materials, presentations, and promotional content
- Support trade shows, customer events, or sales meetings as needed
- Learn and apply best practices in sales techniques and customer relationship management
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers professionally
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for working in a team environment
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering quality service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer engagement strategies
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced business environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with CRM software or sales management tools
- Knowledge of or interest in the automotive industry and parts sector
- Fluency in both German and English languages
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales environments
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets or performance goals
