We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our quality assurance team in Gerlingen, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and meticulous documentation. You will work collaboratively with development teams to identify, analyze, and report defects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Execute manual and automated test cases according to established test plans and specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking systems with clear and detailed descriptions
• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage
• Maintain organized and up-to-date test documentation and test data
• Participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform regression testing to ensure fixes do not introduce new issues
• Support the implementation and execution of both manual and automated testing strategies
• Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to relevant team members

• Proven experience in manual software testing and test case execution
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in documenting test cases and defect reports

**Preferred Skills:**

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, C#, or similar)
• Experience with API testing
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Performance or load testing experience
• Experience in testing web applications or mobile applications
