Job Description
We're looking for an innovative and detail-oriented JavaScript AI Engineer to join our growing technology team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement intelligent applications that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning. You'll work at the intersection of JavaScript development and AI, creating scalable solutions that drive business value and enhance user experience. - Develop and maintain AI-powered applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and design patterns
- Design and implement machine learning models using TensorFlow.js, ML.js, and other AI libraries, while staying current with new AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
- Integrate AI and ML models into full-stack JavaScript applications with seamless API connectivity, collaborating with data scientists and backend engineers to optimize model performance and deployment
- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions using analytical thinking and creative problem-solving approaches
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and team practices
- Deploy AI applications on cloud platforms and monitor them to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance
- Debug applications and troubleshoot issues to guarantee peak performance and exceptional user experience
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience with AI/ML projects and frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI model development and data processing
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and neural networks
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to debug, optimize, and enhance application performance
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision applications
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
- AI/ML certifications or specialized training programs
- Full-stack development background with experience in modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with database management and optimization
- Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and adapt to new technologies
- Experience deploying and monitoring production applications
