Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to join our team in Lansing, United States. As the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets while implementing effective sales strategies.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Forecast sales, set performance goals, and monitor progress through key metrics and KPIs
  • Manage customer relationships and negotiate high-value contracts
  • Oversee the sales budget and optimize resource allocation for maximum ROI
  • Implement and manage CRM systems to improve sales processes and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales management, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Advanced negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in budget management and financial planning
  • Industry-specific knowledge and understanding of market trends (relevant to our company's sector)
  • Sales management certifications are preferred
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
