Job Description

Candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience who join BGSV by the end of 31 December 2026 can receive a Joining Bonus equivalent to 1 month’s gross salary, subject to program eligibility and terms & conditions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The EPM department focuses on software tooling development to support embedded products in the XC which including Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Car Multimedia domain. We develop tools that streamline software and system development for technologies such as radar, video, HMI and ultrasonic sensors. Serving global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, we contribute to the advancement of secure, safe, and intelligent mobility solutions.
The SiL/HiL Embedded Engineer is responsible for configuring, deploying, integrating, and maintaining ADAS SiL/HiL reference implementations in project-specific environments. The role ensures that customer project SiL/HiL variants are enabled efficiently, with maximum reuse from the platform, while supporting stakeholders with technical integration, issue resolution, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and integrate ADAS SiL/HiL reference implementations from the platform into project-specific ADAS SiL/HiL instances based on stakeholder requirements.
- Maintain and continuously improve ADAS SiL/HiL instances to ensure quality, stability, and alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Execute quality assurance measures for SiL/HiL environments and implementations.
- Update and adapt SiL/HiL implementations according to project and customer requirements.
- Provide training and user support for project teams using the ADAS SiL/HiL setup.
- Act as the first-level support contact for issue analysis and resolution.
- Collect and propagate requirements, feedback, and technical demands to relevant development teams.
- Collaborate directly and on a daily basis with project developers and stakeholders.
- Execute the defined ADAS SiL/HiL TDP integration and deployment processes.
- Replicate SiL/HiL platform integrations into customer project variants and implement project-specific extensions where needed.
- Maximize reuse of implementations from the platform integration approach, avoiding copy-paste solutions and ensuring that only project-specific interface differences are added on top.
- Support the SiL/HiL takeover of TRIM / Parking platform capabilities into customer projects in a self-organized and solution-oriented manner.
- Contribute to scalable and efficient workflows for parallel project execution together with platform and customer project teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Have understanding of Automotive(ADAS, IVI, BCM, ..) domain concepts, system architecture, and functional relationships between Automotive(ADAS, IVI, BCM, ..) stack components.
Junior to intermediate-level programming skills in:
- C++
- Python
- Basic to junior-level experience with:
- Bazel, CMake, Conan
- Git
- Docker
Hands-on mindset for troubleshooting, integration adaptation, and project-specific technical support.
Preferred Competencies
- Customer-oriented attitude with focus on successful integration and adoption.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with practical implementation capability.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and parallel project setups.
- Good communication skills to support users and clarify technical topics with stakeholders.
- Structured and self-organized working style.

The role ensures that Automotive SiL/HiL solutions are technically integrated into customer projects, maintained with high quality, and extended in a scalable way with strong reuse from the platform baseline.
