Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure timely material availability and support uninterrupted production.
  • Analyze material demand, supply situations, and inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excess stock.
  • Monitor and manage backlog reports, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and process purchase orders in accordance with procurement and planning requirements.
  • Monitor order fulfillment status and proactively follow up on delayed deliveries.
  • Coordinate special freight arrangements and urgent shipments to minimize supply interruptions.
  • Track supplier performance and delivery commitments to ensure service level compliance.
  • Track and follow up on supplier invoices to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and update procurement and material master data in relevant systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across procurement, planning, and logistics platforms.
  • Identify and resolve master data discrepancies impacting operational performance.
  • Act as the key contact point for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding material planning, order management, and delivery issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on material availability, backlog status, delivery performance, and planning activities.
  • Analyze operational data and recommend improvement actions to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Support standardization, automation, and process improvement projects.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Good written and spoken English and Korean (TOPIK 5 or above).
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, material planning, logistics operations, or related functions.
  • Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and procurement processes is preferred.
  • Experience working with suppliers and international stakeholders is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of supply chain management, procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems, particularly planning and procurement transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and tracking activities.
  • Experience with procurement and logistics systems such as SAP, WeScale or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
