Job Description
Responsible for keeping all machinery, equipment, buildings, infrastructure, etc. in good and efficient operating condition in compliance with legal requirements and Bosch Rexroth procedures and directives, with a strong focus on operational and HSE requirements.
Responsible for new investments in machinery, buildings, infrastructure, etc., including technical, contractual, and project management aspects.
Establishes and maintains effective maintenance procedures, planning, scheduling, material support, and cost and performance analysis.
Provides technical support and resources for the coordination of maintenance-related activities.
Reviews and provides input on proposals for spare parts, new equipment, tools, facilities, infrastructure, auxiliary units, and installation plans.
Maintains knowledge of local and general environmental and HSE regulations and ensures compliance with all applicable operational permits.
Defines and executes departmental goals in support of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) objectives, including the development and implementation of relevant strategies, processes, and programs.
Manages required maintenance resources, including outsourced services, and establishes and manages annual service and maintenance contracts with third parties and parts suppliers for the plant, machinery, equipment, utilities, infrastructure, and auxiliary units.
Efficiently manages and optimizes equipment, materials, and utilities to meet plant and group requirements regarding safety, environment, quality, and cost (budget).
Ensures a safe and healthy working environment for all employees through proper maintenance of equipment and facilities, while ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and policies.
Ensures that maintenance department personnel are properly trained and that their skills are continuously developed to meet departmental requirements.
Supports and takes responsibility for electrical/electronic projects, including electrical cabinets, electrical diagrams, software, and related applications.
Prepares, controls, and manages the departmental budget, both directly and indirectly, and ensures that services are delivered within budget.
Participates in Electrical Safety, Energy Management, and ITM (IT for Manufacturing) activities.
Develops and maintains a structured technical documentation archive.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
Professional certification in Energy Management is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of maintenance and facility management experience within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
Advanced level of English (both written and verbal) is required.
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), MS Project, and exposure to maintenance planning software (e.g., SAP PM, CMMS).
Proven ability to foster and encourage close teamwork across cross-functional departments, including Engineering, Production, and Quality Management etc.
Self-motivated with a strong ability to make independent, risk-aware, and highly informed decisions.
