Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and develop the eAxle system layout, dimensioning, and create the optimum systemic solution; establish, evaluate, and implement system concepts at the System of Systems level
- Develop comprehensive system architecture including interface definition, description, and technical specifications
- Coordinate product requirements across top-down and bottom-up approaches while collaborating with internal experts and cross-functional teams at system of system level
- Address uncertainties and incomplete requirements by making informed assumptions and translating them into robust product requirements at the System of Systems level
- Support preparation of system work packages in collaboration with internal experts; track and report on work status and project milestones
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning for special considerations and technical challenges
- Support change management processes by performing comprehensive impact analysis of requirement and design changes from a system-level perspective
- Lead stakeholder communication and manage expectations across engineering, product, and business teams
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and system requirements documentation
- Perform trade-off analysis to balance performance, cost, weight, and other critical parameters in eAxle system design
- Plan and coordinate system validation and verification activities to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
- Identify and drive optimization opportunities to enhance system performance, efficiency, and manufacturability
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive system engineering with a focus on electrification technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in system architecture development and design at the system-of-systems level
- Strong experience with interface definition, technical specifications, and system requirements documentation
