Job Description

The purpose of this position is to make critical decisions during any emergency situations in the location to ensure safe rescue of people and reduce damage to property.

  • Fire Safety Management System

    Provide Fire safety management plan, design the framework for emergency situations, issues guidelines, designs the procedures and review the procedures periodically

    No. of Fire Risk assessments; No. of risk elimination

  • Fire Safety Inspection & Assessment

    Supervise to perform regular fire safety inspections at facilities of site locations and ensuring that all fire and life safety systems installed in the work premises are effective, efficient and ready to use

    Location Fire risk score; Emergency response time

  • Training & Awareness

    Provide training to employees, facility staff including contractor employees on fire safety and preventive measures, basic fire fighting techniques, organizing fire drills, emergency evacuation drills

    No. of trained fire fighters; No. of mock drills conducted

  • Communication & Participation

    Laisioning with internal & external stakeholders related to fire safety systems compliance, supporting during any external emergencies

    No. of external emergencies responded; No. of Mock Drills

  • Compliance Management

    Supervise plant processes/activities are legally complied in line with statutory requirements and Bosch guidelines applicable for fire emergency systems

    100% Compliance to Fire Safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering
  • Diploma in industrial safety or fire fighting course or any other related course (desired)
  • Authorized license from RTO for driving ambulance & fire vehicle
  • 5/6 years of experience of working in manufacturing industry including 3 years in HSE function
  • Experience of driving emergency vehicle
