Job Description

💼 Role Overview

As a Project Engineer specializing in Hydraulics, you'll take ownership of end-to-end engineering projects while developing expertise in hydraulic and electro-hydraulic system design. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the complete project lifecycle—from initial customer engagement through successful commissioning—while collaborating with cross-functional teams including customers, suppliers, sales, and technical partners. You'll gain hands-on experience in system design, technical problem-solving, and project delivery, positioning you for growth within a dynamic engineering environment.

🎯 What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Project Lifecycle Management

  • Own engineering projects from order intake through final handover, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to maintain timelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet business objectives.

Technical Design & Engineering

  • Design and develop innovative hydraulic and electro-hydraulic solutions leveraging Bosch Rexroth product portfolio.
  • Perform system sizing, component selection, and circuit design based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and project documentation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with customer specifications, relevant industry standards, and safety regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and project partners to define requirements, clarify specifications, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Provide technical support and customer training, including engineering reviews, technical presentations, and system commissioning guidance.

Testing, Commissioning & Continuous Improvement

  • Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning activities, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering standardization activities to enhance processes and product quality.

 

Qualifications

👤 What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or related engineering discipline.
  • Foundational knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, accumulators, and control systems (academic or hands-on experience welcome).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering design software; willingness to develop proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for technical problem-solving.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for on-site visits for customer meetings, commissioning activities, or project support as required.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering environment with mentorship from experienced professionals.
