Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software expert to join our team, focusing on the integration, development and optimization of critical software drivers. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our SoCs by designing, implementing and porting essential software components for embedded environments. Your core responsibilities will include:
- You will develop advanced software modules and drivers specifically for the POSIX operating system (e.g. QNX).
- You will design and develop robust Linux kernel modules.
- You will port existing Linux drivers (kernel and user Space) to specific Linux distribution environment to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- You will develop and contribute to multi-layer Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience embedded software development with BSP, kernel, and driver development, and application development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++
- Experience with ARM Cortex-A based processors, Bootloaders (U-Boot preferred), Linux Kernel development, Device Driver Development.
- In-depth expertise in high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, including memory hierarchies for high-performance microprocessor CPUs and high-speed devices like PCIe.
- Extensive development experience under Linux, QNX and POSIX operating systems.
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as GDB, Lauterbach, etc.
- Strong command of software version control systems, particularly Git.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English. (Germany will be plus)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Additional experience below is preferred
- Experience with Requirements Engineering tools (e.g. Codebeamer or similar platforms).
- Experience QNX / Android development experience is plus
- Hypervisor and virtualization with Multi-core SoC architectures is plus
- Experience BSP development and maintenance, BSP Bring up is plus
- Experience Automotive software development is plus
- AI/ML software deployment on embedded platforms is plus
- High-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIe is plus
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is plus
- Solid working knowledge of GNU Compiler & Tools.
- Familiarity with hypervisor technologies.
