Job Description

We are looking for an intern to join the HSE Department. The selected candidate will support the team in managing activities related to health, workplace safety, and environmental protection, contributing to the maintenance of company standards and compliance with current regulations.
In addition, the candidate will be involved in a project focused on the digitalization of HSE processes, with particular attention to the optimization of behavioral monitoring tools.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support in drafting and updating HSE documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory compliance related to safety and environmental matters.
  • Participate in internal audits and workplace inspections.
  • Collect and analyze data related to accidents, near misses, and HSE indicators.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE area.

Assigned Project

  • Responsibility for the preliminary study related to the introduction of “smart” digital BBS (Behavior Based Safety) checklists.
  • Analyze current processes and identify digitalization needs.
  • Evaluate digital tools and solutions for checklist management.
  • Support the definition of a standardized and easily implementable model.
  • Collaborate with the involved company functions to gather requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering disciplines, ideally Environmental Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or similar fields.
  • Interest in health, safety, and environmental topics.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
