Job Description

The purpose of this position is to establish scientific basis for time and motion standards, monitor and calculate the blue-collar manpower efficiency and establish safe and ergonomic work environment to overall enhance productivity and resource utilization in various direct and indirect functions.

 

  • Industrial Engineering

    Estimate, develop and determine Standard time (MTM, Time Study) , Maintain SAP data (Routing, CAPP, ROS), Identify improvement areas (ABC analysis, Bottleneck study, LLD,OEE trends, VT/TG trends) & lead/support VT/Tg ratio optimization projects to ensure implementation of IE & BPS standards

    CAPP Linkage Status (in %), Product Capacity Declaration, BP - VT updation/ Tg updation , Gtg Reduction (in Min.)

  • Ergonomics

    Assess, review, monitor and communicate ergonomic compliance of workstations to stakeholders. Ensure closure of observations during ergo checks to ensure safer, healthier and productive work places.

  • Incentive Management

    Determine manpower in value streams based on production plan for optimum productivity. Monitor, calculate, monitor and communicate the incentive metrices and excess wages to the stakeholders

    Define, implement, and sustain MJV standards across the plant, train and supervise assessors, communicate standards, and create/update/present MIS using MS Power BI, including standards for individual assessment.

    Support and estimate scope of productivity improvements based on past data, simulate working models and propose to management and labour union, participate in negotiations, assist in preparing draft proposal to establish productivity and incentive framework for LTS.

Qualifications

B.Tech./B.E. (Industrial Engineering/Mechanical/Automobile);

5 to 8 years in Industrial Engineering / Process Planning / Manufacturing / Lean Principles
