Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
A SAP Business Analytics Support Consultant is responsible for ensuring the stable operation, maintenance, enhancement, and support of SAP Business Analytics solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for SAP Business Analytics applications.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Monitor system health, batch jobs, data loads, and report availability.
Support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, and Powe BI reporting solutions.
Resolve report performance issues and data inconsistencies.
Validate report outputs against business requirements.
Monitor ETL/data loading processes.
Investigate data quality issues and coordinate with source system owners.
Ensure timely availability of business reports and dashboards.
Develop or support minor enhancements to reports and dashboards.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
Identify opportunities to improve report performance and query execution.
Optimize BW queries, HANA views, and data models.
Recommend automation to reduce manual support effort.
Monitor system utilization and recommend capacity improvements.
Support user authorization and role-related activities.
Monitor background jobs and interface failures.
Coordinate transports across Development, QA, and Production environments.
Support system upgrades and release activities.
Track KPIs such as SLA compliance, first-time resolution, backlog, and customer satisfaction.
Participate in service review meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Identify repetitive support activities suitable for automation.
Leverage AI, scripting, or SAP BTP capabilities to improve operational efficiency.
Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, infrastructure teams, and partners
Support global teams across different time zones where required.
Qualifications
Educational qualification:
B.E / B.Tech
Experience :
5 to 9 years of experience
Mandatory/requires Skills :
SAP BW/4HANA / SAP BW,SAC, and SAP Datasphere
Preferred Skills :
Power BI, Data Bricks, and SQL, EPM Cloud
