Bosch Electrical Drives India Pvt. Ltd. (RBDI), was formed in April 2008 with the sole objective of dealing electrical drives products from Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany and also from its affiliated and subsidiary companies in the rest of the world. RBDI is engaged in sales, manufacturing, development and application of wiper systems including wiper motors & arm & blades for both front & rear, HVAC blower motors & window lift motors.
Job Description
We are looking for an intern to join the HSE Department. The selected candidate will support the team in managing activities related to health, workplace safety, and environmental protection, contributing to the maintenance of company standards and compliance with current regulations.
The candidate will also be involved in a technical project related to electrical safety, with the aim of improving controls on electrical systems and ensuring alignment with internal company standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Support in drafting and updating HSE documentation.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory compliance related to safety and environmental matters.
- Participate in internal audits and workplace inspections.
- Collect and analyze data related to accidents, near misses, and HSE indicators.
- Collaborate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE area.
Assigned Project
- Support the project aimed at compliance with internal standards related to electrical inspections on machinery and equipment (both during installation and periodic inspections).
- Collect and analyze existing technical documentation related to electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate in defining and standardizing electrical verification procedures.
- Support the execution of risk assessments on electrical systems across different company sites.
- Contribute to the planning of the gradual replacement of Type A/AC residual current devices with Type B devices.
- Monitor the progress status of activities and update technical databases.
- Interface with internal technical departments (Maintenance, Engineering, Production).
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering disciplines, ideally Environmental Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or similar fields.
- Interest in health, safety, and environmental topics.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
- Good command of the English language.
