Job Description
Purpose: The purpose of this position is to execute PS-SB/RBU-IN product management by defining product strategies and facilitate acquisitions for operational excellence.
Market Analysis And Strategy Management:
- Provide product strategy through market potential & participation in trade air/demonstration to capture and track acquisition.
- Derive and update product portfolio balancing both regional and global product strategy
Pricing Management:
- Define product cost enquiry premise, ensure timely response from CFT for its completion, and prepare pricing strategy with rBU & CTG to ensure healthy profitability
Networking:
- Connect with sales, BU (regional and global) for periodic review of product portfolio, acquisition, customer contracts & other relevant agreements, cost recoveries, customer strategy discussions
Competitor Analysis Management
- Define premises for competitor analysis, obtain data/results from CFT on technical & commercial benchmarking and report bench marking results to management for decisions/further actions
Acquisition Support
- Supports quotation reviews of single BU business (AR) Supports sales within acquisition phase and AR preparation and in sales price analysis
Process Management
- Support business planning based on VPZ/TPZ and mobilize decisions in rPSR into actions for forecasted business growth.
Competence Development
- Obtain competencies in the functional area based on present and future trends as per the business requirements.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical / Automobile)
* MBA in Biz development / marketing (desirable)
Experience
* Min 5 years of professional experience
* 2-3years of Technical Sales / Marketing / Biz development experience in automotive industry
Additional Information
Knowledge
* Basic knowledge of automotive technologies, ICE and Powertrain solutions
* Advanced knowledge on market, technology trends and developments (region & global)
* Advanced knowledge of business terms and conditions (e.g. RFI/Q, Pricing, Quotations, Contracts,), Financial and Legal Knowledge
* Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, iGPM
