Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Develop and maintain software tools for early prototyping, R&D activities, embedded testing, and product certification.
- Support the development and optimization of the embedded software toolchain, contributing to improved efficiency and productivity across the development process.
- Create and enhance automation solutions, including scripts, build processes, and CI/CD workflows that support software development and industrialization.
- Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly GUI and CLI applications for embedded systems and engineering activities.
- Contribute to software quality and traceability by applying version control, documentation, artifact management, and modern development best practices.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Active involvement in academic projects, personal coding projects, or hardware hobbies is highly valued.
- Know-how:
- Good knowledge in C embedded software development.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Python.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems systems and their integration in the development process.
- Basic understanding of low-level hardware concepts.
- Experience with Hardware probing tools.
- Exposure to basic communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
- Ability to read basic hardware schematics or component datasheets.
- Knowledge about toolchain development, including ARM GNU tools and CMake.
- Understanding of electronic circuits and bare metal development.
- Languages: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Working Style and Personality: Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and curious. A proactive team player with good communication skills who is motivated by hardware-software integration.
