Job Description
Help shape the future of sustainable heating technology. As a Production Support Life Cycle Management Engineer, you will drive the continuous improvement of our electrified heating solutions throughout their entire product lifecycle. Working in an international and cross-functional environment, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance and compliance while bringing engineering improvements successfully into series production.
Your contribution to something big:
- Drive product changes related to cost optimization, quality improvements and regulatory requirements - from defining requirements through implementation in series production.
- Improve and optimize our portfolio of electrified heating systems, contributing to efficient and sustainable residential heating solutions.
- Develop, validate and implement engineering changes across multiple product platforms throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyze existing products and identify opportunities to improve quality, performance, reliability and manufacturability.
- Collaborate closely with international teams across R&D, Production, Product Management, Quality and Service to ensure successful implementation of product changes.
- Support product validation activities and help ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and legal regulations.
- Act as a key interface between stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and effective coordination across departments.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Experience in hardware development, testing, validation or manufacturing of technical products.
- Ideally, experience with heat pump, HVAC or comparable thermal management systems.
- Experience with engineering change management, product lifecycle activities or continuous product improvement is an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements is considered a plus.
Know-how
- Good understanding of heat pump technologies and related components.
- Knowledge of refrigeration or hydraulic systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4HANA is desirable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within international and cross-functional teams.
Languages
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
