Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Luanda, Angola. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building a high-performing sales team, and establishing strong market presence in the region. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on sales expertise to capitalize on market opportunities and deliver exceptional results.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and organizational objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions in Angola
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, KPIs, and forecasts to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and market positioning strategies
- Manage sales budgets, resources, and expenses while optimizing return on investment
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management
- Customize sales approaches and solutions to meet the unique needs of the Angolan market
- Recruit, train, and evaluate sales personnel to build a capable and motivated team
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
- Solid understanding of budget management and financial acumen
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable
- Experience in emerging markets or the Angola region is preferred
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships in competitive environments
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset and strong time management skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions and drive organizational change
