Job Description

SAP Project Systems (PS) Support

  • Monitor and manage SAP error handling workflows from system inbox

  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in SAP / PM tools or via coordination with relevant teams

  • Support integration between PM tools, middleware, and SAP ensuring smooth data flow

  • Execute month-end support activities including hours integration checks, discrepancy resolution, and missing data handling

  • Perform database validation (SQL-based) to identify and resolve integration issues

  • Handle invoice transfer issues and work package validations in SAP

  • Maintain error logs/documentation and contribute to knowledge base

2. Technical Upgrade (TU) & Testing Support

o   Execute business process test scenarios during SAP technical upgrades

o   Setup and manage test chains and test data for end-to-end validation

o   Support user access and authorization setup for testing activities

o   Provide extended support during TU cycles (high-demand periods) to ensure business continuity

3. Component Business / Data & Coordination Support

o   Support data validation, data cleansing coordination, and issue tracking across business processes

o   Coordinate with business key users and stakeholders for requirement clarification and issue resolution

o   Participate in regular governance and coordination meetings and provide status updates

o   Track activities using structured tools (trackers, Kanban, reporting dashboards)

o   Ensure transparency, reporting, and adherence to defined processes

o   Collaborate across SAP teams, PM tool teams, and business stakeholders for end-to-end support

 

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration or equivalent

Experience :

2–3 years of experience in SAP support / functional roles

  • SAP support / incident resolution

  • Data validation / data handling activities

  • Month-end operational support (preferred)

  • Exposure to SAP upgrades/testing (nice to have)

Mandatory/requires Skills :
o   Strong understanding of SAP Project Systems (PS) module

o   Basic knowledge of SAP SD and/or MM modules

o   Understanding of end-to-end business processes (O2C, P2P)

o   Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting

o   Understanding of system integration and interfaces (PM tools, SAP, middleware)

o   Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills

o   Ability to work independently with structured approach

o   Proactive problem-solving mindset

o   Familiarity with tracking/reporting tools (Kanban, trackers; Power BI – nice to have)
