Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Responsible for LSP management for India overland

  • Responsible for evaluation of logistics service providers (LSPs) during the tendering process, including assessing operational capabilities, audit  hubs , service quality, and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Responsible to use data-driven metrics (SLAs, KPIs, scorecards) to continuously improve cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance. 

  • Perform ageing reports and proactively address any deviations.  

  • Conduct defined review cycles with LSPs at regular frequency. Take necessary escalations and initiate systematic problem-solving approach, for example PDCA cycle to ensure future enhancements. Proactively engage fast problem recognition, and take actions proactively, to avoid/eliminate escalations and complaints from internal customers 

  • Be the contact point for any inquiries from internal customers in the region and collaborate with LSP managers and network design experts to seek for collaboration and optimization of network. 

  • Conduct Hypercare/Taskforce for change management/ routes with recurring deviations. 

  • Be the point of contact for LSPs towards any support with invoice payments, change management etc.

  • Support internal stakeholders for Penalty and claims management topics.  

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, business, supply chain or economics from a reputable university.

Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience in LSP-management and existing network with major LSPs. 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to think about further growth potentials and mid- and long-term strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of Transport management systems.  

  • Excellent data analysis and hands on experience with power bi and Microsoft excel.
