Job Description
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong foundation in vehicle testing and a passion for automotive systems. This individual brings technical rigor in test execution and analysis, along with a collaborative mindset to support customer-facing development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calibration, verification, and validation of brake control systems, including electronic brake actuation and functions such as Anti-lock Braking Systems (ABS), Traction Control Systems (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and driver assistance features.
Ensure process consistency, quality, and competency in the application of Bosch development processes, tools, and roles across multiple OEM customer teams.
Act as the primary technical interface between the customer and internal project teams for all brake system-related functions.
Analyze customer specifications and coordinate requirements tracking within cross-functional technical project teams.
Plan and coordinate the use of test vehicles and required test equipment to support development and validation activities.
Support and participate in vehicle testing campaigns at various locations, including summer and winter test programs.
Manage project activities and maintain project documentation in accordance with defined Bosch processes and standards.
Execute software release procedures, including verification and validation for prototype/sample stages through final production release.
Provide ongoing customer support and actively participate in regular technical discussions and meetings.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in planning and conducting tests, as well as evaluating test results (professional or academic experience).
Valid driver’s license required.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations and test sites, including participation in seasonal vehicle test programs (summer and winter).
Preferred Qualifications
Vehicle dynamics knowledge and driving experience.
Demonstrated passion for automotive systems (e.g., racing, restoring, or hands-on vehicle work).
