RBVH has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at e-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.
Job Description
As an Embedded System Test Coordinator for Occupant Safety Systems, you will serve as the Test Project Lead responsible for overseeing comprehensive testing activities across multiple automotive projects. In this role, you will develop and execute test strategies aligned with organizational standards while addressing project-specific requirements, manage test planning and resource allocation, and ensure quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project test strategies and plans, incorporating organizational standards while tailoring to project-specific requirements, scope, and constraints
- Define test activities, establish success criteria, and assign responsibilities to test team members with clear deliverables and timelines
- Ensure seamless integration of testing activities throughout all phases of software development, maintaining alignment with development schedules and milestones
- Conduct requirements analysis and clarification to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability
- Design and develop test cases, specifications, and high-level test designs using established methodologies and best practices
- Establish and manage test environments, including Software-in-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) configurations
- Develop and implement test automation solutions to enhance efficiency and repeatability
- Execute test cases, document results, and generate comprehensive defect reports with technical analysis
- Identify and select relevant test cases for regression testing to optimize test coverage and resource utilization
- Conduct technical reviews of test specifications and coordinate peer review processes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on quality assurance processes and best practices
- Estimate task effort and resource requirements with accuracy and accountability
- Monitor and track project progress, manage timelines, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to support project objectives
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and prevent recurring issues
Qualifications
- Major in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/ Electrical-Electronics/ Electronics-Telecommunication/Mechatronics Engineering/Automotive or related fields
- Have 4-8 years of experience in Embedded Testing
- Good at 1 of following programming language: C/C++/Python/VBA/Perl scripting language, API programming
- Good Knowledge of micro-controller and embedded system
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment
- Self-driven and strong inter-personal skills
- Good teamwork, time management, stakeholder management, decision-making skills
- Good at team engagement, motivation and competency build-up
- Good English language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
- It would be BIG advantage if you have:
- Automotive domain knowledge
- Holding experience at team management, handling team size from 3 to 5 members
- Exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging
- Exposure Automotive communication protocols e.g. CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet and AUTOSAR architecture
- ISTQB certificate Advanced level
