Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Associate III to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for supporting inbound, internal processing, and outbound operations, ensuring seamless material flow and exceptional customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Associate III will be a safety champion, strictly adhering to all site safety policies and procedures in compliance with corporate directives. This position requires proficiency in operating various Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment and a proven ability to train others on warehouse processes and PIT operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PIT Operations & Material Movement:
    • Utilize various Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment (including Turret, Man-Up) to accurately pick, transport, and put away parts and materials for next-step processing.
    • Verify material integrity, quantities, and part identities against documentation, ensuring accuracy throughout the movement process.
    • Efficiently move parts and materials to designated proper areas within the warehouse.
  • Material Preparation & Processing:
    • Prepare parts and materials for subsequent processing stages by verifying materials and quantities.
    • Ensure all materials are correctly staged and ready for the next operation.
  • Order Fulfillment & Packaging:
    • Utilize various packaging materials to accurately and securely pack customer orders according to established standard work instructions.
    • Apply correct labels and confirm part identity by comparing details against order documentation.
  • Training & Mentorship:
    • Serve as the lead trainer for all area processes, including comprehensive instruction on the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT).
    • Provide clear and effective training using documented Workplace Instructions (WPIs).
  • Equipment Operation:
    • Operate a variety of hand-powered material handling equipment, semi-automated/automated packaging equipment, scales, and postage meters.
  • Record Keeping & Inventory:
    • Maintain accurate and organized records pertaining to receiving, stock management, inventory, and shipping (including checklists).
  • Team Leadership Support:
    • Act as a proxy to the area Warehouse Team Lead in their absence, providing support and oversight as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED REQUIRED
  • Technical/Vocational education PREFERRED

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment supporting inbound, internal processing, and outbound operations.
  • Previous experience in a training or mentorship role is highly desirable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer and RF Scanner Proficiency: Intermediate ability to use computer terminals and RF scanners for data entry and inventory management.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Intermediate communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proactivity & Results Focus: Intermediate ability to demonstrate proactivity with a strong focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Organization & 6S Adherence: Intermediate ability to maintain an organized workspace and consistently adhere to 6S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).
  • PIT Operation: Intermediate proficiency in operating a variety of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, including Turret and Man-Up.
  • Basic Math, Reading, Writing: Basic understanding of math concepts, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and legible writing skills.
  • Measuring Equipment: Basic ability to use and read measuring equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions common to a warehouse setting (e.g., varying temperatures, noise levels).
  • Must be able to safely operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $21.63 - $25.75 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
