Company Description

Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

The Quality Specialist for Quality Management System (QMS) & Quality Methods is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS in alignment with international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and internal guidelines.
The role ensures robust quality governance, effective process control, and continuous optimization, applying advanced quality methods, supporting cross-functions, and driving innovation to meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.

1/ QMS Strategic Development & Maintenance

  • Interpret, implement, and continuously improve QMS according to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and internal requirements
  • Develop, update, and control QMS documentation
  • Coordinate complex cross-functional processes and ensure effective deployment of QMS requirements
  • Drive innovation and optimization within QMS structure and processes
  • Participate in introduction of new quality strategies and governance frameworks

2/ Application & Improvement of Quality Methods

  • Drive the application of advanced quality tools and methodologies to optimize processes and product quality, e.g. Q-Basic, Quality Hero
  • Conduct training and provide expert guidance to third parties (e.g., engineering, production, project) on quality methods, focusing on support functions and detailing of solutions, using standards to do so
  • Lead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance quality performance in line with QMM TAC, e.g. Quality Mindset, Preventive Quality, LEAN
  • Contribute to the introduction of new quality methodologies and best practices aligned with strategic objectives

3/ Internal & External Audits

  • Establish and manage the internal audit program in alignment with QMS requirements and company objectives  
  • Plan, conduct, and report audits to ensure QMS compliance and effectiveness
  • Support development and qualification of internal auditors
  • Coordinate external audits (certification bodies/division audits) as main interface 
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions (CA) and Preventive Actions (PA) resulting from audits

4/ Quality Data Analysis & Reporting 

  • Collect, analyze, and present quality data (KPIs, audit results, Q issues)
  • Perform target vs. actual comparison and initiate corrective actions
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and support management decision-making
  • Represent quality performance in management reviews and stakeholder meetings

 5/ Other Assignments: Participate in ad-hoc projects, corporate initiatives, and other assignments

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Chemical), Quality Management, or a related technical field

Work experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Quality Management, specifically with QMS development and quality methodologies, preferably within the automotive industry 
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in QMS standards, especially ISO 9001 are mandatory. Experience with IATF 16949 and VDA standards is a significant advantage. 
  • Proficiency in core quality tools & methodologies: SPC, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, 5 Whys 
  • Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and/or VDA6.3, IATF 16949
