Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Design, development, and expansion of OData-based services in the MDG-M environment
oExtension implementations
• Integration of external systems (VAULT, Open PDM, other engineering systems) into SAP MDG-M
• Analysis, processing, and harmonization of material master data
• Implementation of REST APIs for system communication
• Close cooperation with specialist departments, architecture, and related IT teams
• Support with testing, error analysis, and optimization in the MDG-M context

Experience :

 

Mandatory/requires Skills :
SAP MDG

  • Proven hands-on experience as an SAP MDG Solution Architect or Senior Consultant.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP MDG architecture, configuration, and implementation methodology.

  • Strong understanding of MDG workflow configuration and change request management.

RAP or OData

  • Solid experience with RAP/OData service development and consumption within an SAP landscape.

  • Proficiency in SAP Gateway, REST APIs, and integration patterns using OData protocols. 

 

Preferred Skills :

Additional Information

Technical requirements/skills
• Very good knowledge of SAP MDG-M (in-depth understanding of data models, processes, and governance)
• Experience with OData services (design, implementation, extension)
• Knowledge of working with REST APIs
• Experience in connecting external systems and middleware scenarios
• Understanding of engineering and PDM system landscapes is an advantage
