Job Description

We are seeking an experienced FIFO Service Supervisor to lead our Port Hedland Service Team, supporting customers across the Pilbara.

This role is responsible for supervising a team of FIFO Field Service Technicians, ensuring service activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will play a key role in driving team performance, managing customer relationships, and supporting service growth across the region, while ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.

What you will be doing

  • Team Leadership & Service Delivery: Supervise and support FIFO field technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Customer & Service Sales: Build strong relationships with customers, identify service opportunities, and support growth across the Pilbara region
  • Operational Planning & Coordination: Manage scheduling, resources, and workloads to ensure service delivery targets are met
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure service quality standards are maintained, including reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • People & Capability: Ensure team licences, tickets, inductions, and competencies are current, and support ongoing development
  • Reporting & Documentation: Oversee timely and accurate completion of service reports, quotations, and job documentation
  • Continuous Improvement & Growth: Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, support planning, and contribute to operational growth

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Hydraulics, or similar
  • 5+ years’ experience in field service or working with hydraulic systems
  • Previous experience leading or supervising field service teams
  • Strong knowledge of mining or heavy industry environments, ideally within the Pilbara
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive service outcomes
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage teams and customers effectively
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety outcomes
