Job Description

The Machine Tool Operator is responsible for operating machine tools within the area, ensuring the correct loading of raw materials, unloading of finished parts, and execution of dimensional checks in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load machine tools / machining centers with raw blocks and tooling
  • Unload finished parts and ensure proper handling and storage
  • Perform dimensional inspections according to control plans and technical drawings
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure consistency and product quality
  • Identify and report non-conformities or deviations
  • Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Follow work instructions, safety rules, and production standards
  • Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve issues
  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

  • Technical diploma or equivalent (mechanical/industrial preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of machining processes and machine tools (CNC is a plus)
  • Ability to use measuring instruments (e.g. caliper, micrometer)
  • Ability to read technical drawings (preferred)
  • Familiarity with production environments and quality standards
