Job Description
The Assembly & Test Operator is responsible for performing assembly and testing activities using both manual and automatic test benches. The role includes managing production progress in IT systems, operating machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient workflow and workplace organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production progress in IT systems (e.g. order opening/closing, quantity reporting)
- Load and unload parts from automatic machines and test benches
- Organize and manage work areas, including WIP and finished goods
- Perform assembly and testing activities according to technical documentation (assembly instructions, test procedures, work cycles, quality alerts)
- Execute functional testing using manual and automatic test benches
- Compile daily production reports and maintain proper documentation
- Report anomalies, quality issues, or process deviations to relevant functions
- Perform rework activities following machine issues when no maintenance intervention is required
- Ensure cleanliness and order of machines and workstations
- Complete assigned checklists and control sheets
- Request material replenishment when needed
Qualifications
Hard Skills:
- Technical diploma (mechanical, electrical, or industrial preferred)
- Experience with assembly processes and testing systems
- Ability to use manual and automatic test benches
- Knowledge of measurement instruments (pressure, flow, etc.)
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with production IT systems / ERP
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation
