• You will develop, analyze, prioritize, specify, validate, and manage requirements for cloud-based industrial AI and software applications.
• As a part of your team, you will design end-to-end architectures for cloud-based industrial AI and software applications, considering performance, scalability, reliability, security, usability, maintainability, integratability, observability, and business conditions.
• Additionally, you will elaborate, review and update the technical roadmap together with an interdisciplinary team from business, AI feature development, and software engineering.
• You will technically manage the development and operation of industrial AI and software applications, including frontend, backend, cloud, data engineering, DevOps, and AI feature integration. In doing so, you will ensure the timely, specification-compliant, and high-quality delivery according to best-practice development and operational standards.
• Moreover, you will innovate cloud-based industrial AI and software applications based on a thorough understanding of the latest trends in software and AI architecture design, as well as their software components.
• You will offer technical guidance to your software engineering team and promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the team.
• Furthermore, you will work closely with AI, software engineering, business, and domain experts in an international, interdisciplinary team.
• Last but not least, you will communicate technical content clearly and understandably to customers, technical and business teams, as well as management.

• Education: completed degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience and Knowledge:
  • several years of professional experience with a proven track record of delivering cloud-based, industrial AI and software applications on time, to specification, and with high quality
  • strong experience in building and leading software engineering teams
  • familiarity with the integration of AI features
  • deep understanding of the latest end-to-end architectural design principles for cloud-based, industrial AI and software applications and their software components
  • experience with cloud-based AI and software applications for manufacturing is a plus
• Personality and Working Practice: you succeed in driving technical innovations and inspiring teams; you have excellent communication skills and work confidently in international, interdisciplinary teams
• Languages: fluent English skills written and spoken, German is a plus
