Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development professional to join our organization in Kolkata, India. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex business environments.

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to drive organizational growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular engagement and strategic account management
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive research to inform business strategy and identify emerging trends
  • Prepare compelling sales proposals, presentations, and business cases tailored to client needs and organizational capabilities
  • Manage and nurture the sales pipeline, tracking progress against established metrics and forecasts
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve favorable terms while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and product development to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement customized business development strategies for key accounts and market segments

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or related roles within a corporate environment
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret market data and business metrics
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinking capability with the ability to develop and execute business development initiatives
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
