This role manages the Human Resources function of the Power Tools Manufacturing Plant in Oragadam, near Chennai.

Job Description

  • Responsible for safety, quality and delivery fulfillment of motor and tools assembly lines
  •  Achievement of the required production program by optimized utilization of resources provided.

Responsibility 

1. Fulfillment of production program agreed in DRM with optimized utilization of resources [man, machine and material]
2. Execution of daily production program against the leveling plan and achieving delivery fulfillment target
3. Responsible for reliable and safe working environment at shop floor, deviation and escalation management
4. Ensuring quality of products delivered out of the production line by ensuring production as per standards like standardized work, instruction chart etc.
5. Frequently ensuring compliance to standards trough process confirmation, tracking and correcting the deviations.
6. Leading the shop floor team in Daily Leadership Routine review by effective tracking of KPIs [ SQCD] and seek / demand the supports from CFT
7. Identification of key projects through SCIP approach and leading Point CIP
8. Driving projects to improve the BPS and 14Q maturity level
9. Maintaining and improving the 5S of the shop.
10. Responsible for on-the-job training and assessment of associates
11. Motivating and enabling continuous improvement process through idea center and Kaizen

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech  (Industrial Engg/Mechanical / Mechatronics) with  5 to  8 years of experience
