Drafter works with Design Engineers and independently creates and/or modifies CAD models and drawings, processes engineering change requests, performs support functions for the engineering department to help
complete design projects, and support projects within the Engineering & Administrative Support
groups.

• 2D drafting and 3D modelling support work
• Change Management support for ECR/ECN processing
• Assurance for quality documentation as engineering support
• Standards of drawing or any other engineering formats

Education and Experience:

• Minimum two year technical / drafting education (prefer certificate or degree) or equivalent
• work experience
• Two years minimum mechanical drafting / modelling work experience
• Proficient with following computer software programs such as NX/Team Center, MS Word,
• MS Excel
• Knowledge of basic design practices and geometric tolerance practices
• Comfortable with basic mechanical design concepts (how component parts fit / interact with
• each other within an assembly)
