Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Plant Product Owner for assigned product families from manufacturing stage through end-of-life (EOL).
  • Serve as the main interface between Plant and Development for all product-related HW/SW issues.
  • Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) performance and implement continuous improvement actions to meet targets.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for production and quality issues (e.g., FOR, field returns, 0km defects).
  • Take ownership as Task Force Leader for critical product or process issues, coordinating cross-functional resources.
  • Support failure analysis (FA) activities and collaborate with teams to define effective diagnostic tools.
  • Transfer product know-how from development to plant during industrialization and ensure smooth product ramp-up.
  • Participate in new product development (NPD) phases to incorporate plant lessons learned and prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide technical risk assessments and decision justification for quality-related concerns.
  • Lead and support cost improvement initiatives (e.g., RPP, IDC) to achieve plant and corporate targets.
  • Develop and implement engineering and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Ensure manufacturing readiness through line buy-off, release, and validation activities.
  • Conduct technical training for production technicians and engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contract manufacturers (CM), and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
  • Support data analysis and reporting (e.g., SQL queries, technical presentations) for management and customers.
  • Provide support in sample builds, testing, and evaluation activities during early product phases.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field)
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing / semiconductor / electronics environment
  • Strong experience in quality tools (e.g., 8D, PFMEA, etc.)
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, yield improvement, and failure analysis
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive working attitude
  • Role responsibilities will follow the official job description shared
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in assembly and testing operations.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, Python, or SQL is an added advantage
