This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The plant is producing two major product categories: connectors and fuel injection units. Connectors are a booming segment with growth potential in the ICE- and EV-market. The factory is also the first plant for the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of producing millions of fuel injector units every year and can meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

  1. Manage the tool services and maintenance team for serial production, relocation, and new tool projects, including capacity planning and cost management.
  2. Serve as a tool problem-solving expert, building a problem-solving team and implementing the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach.
  3. Coordinate and manage KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and KPR (Key Performance Result) benchmark improvement activities.
  4. Develop and build competencies for new tool fitting and in-house tool making, increased cavity, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This includes overseeing the fitting process, conducting quality checks, and coordinating tool release activities
  5. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity in tool service and maintenance.
  6. Establishing and maintaining I 4.0 technologies within our organization to improve productivity in tooling management, including exchanging knowledge through IPN and Bosch Global. This involves implementing and optimizing tools such as TMS, RAPT Tableau, and Global Tooling Management
  7. Maintain and update IATF 16949 and related ISO procedures in accordance with quality policies.
  8. shop floor operations according to Bosch production system (BPS), ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as implementing 5S methodology.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
  2. Proficient verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
  3. Proven experience in managing tool services and maintenance in the plastic injection industry or comparable field.
  4. Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen circumstances.
  5. Flexible in adapting work plans and schedules accordingly. Open to learning and embracing new technologies, processes, and responsibilities.
