Job Description
We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Guadalajara, Mexico. In this role, you'll play a critical part in our product development lifecycle, leveraging advanced simulation techniques to design, validate, and optimize innovative solutions. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform complex engineering challenges into actionable insights through rigorous modeling and analysis.
- Perform numerical simulations in CAE software to ensure thermal and mechanical reliability in a wide variety of products using FEA and/or CFD theory.
- Perform detailed finite element analysis (FEA) ith the Housing Simulation Team at VM-ST parthner
- Perform Rack Sim report with the Housing Simulation Team at VM-ST parthner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven hands-on experience with structural simulation software "Ansys"
- Demonstrated experience with at least one year with Ansys software
- Strong foundation in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and system dynamics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in CAD software and data visualization tools to support simulation workflows
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Organized approach to project management with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Preferred: Experience in automotive, hydraulic, or mechatronic system simulation
- Preferred: Familiarity with version control systems and technical documentation practices
