Job Description

This is more than a sales role, it’s an opportunity to build long term partnerships and become a trusted advisor to customers in the aftermarket space.

As an Independent Aftermarket (IAM) Sales Engineer, based in our Brisbane office, you will be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of customers across your region. You will work closely with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored hydraulic solutions that improve performance and reliability.

You will also play a key role in expanding our partner network and driving aftermarket growth, working closely with internal teams to deliver practical, high quality solutions and strong customer outcomes.

  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and grow long term relationships with key customers, becoming their go to contact and trusted advisor across their operations
  • Drive Business Growth: Identify and secure new opportunities within the aftermarket sector, expand the partner network, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth
  • Deliver Technical Solutions: Understand customer challenges and apply your hydraulic expertise to deliver practical, value driven solutions that strengthen customer outcomes
  • Strengthen Customer Success: Support customers beyond the sale, ensuring strong aftersales engagement, reliability, and long term satisfaction
  • Grow Market Presence: Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the market to support business growth and improve our product and service offering

Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally within the mobile hydraulics industry.
  • A relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or similar).
  • A genuine passion for customer satisfaction, coupled with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • A self-motivated, strategic thinker with a drive to achieve results.
