Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations / Logistics Intern to support daily operational activities and cross-functional coordination. This role provides hands-on exposure to order processing, logistics coordination, stock monitoring, system updates, and process improvement projects within a multinational corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order & System Support

  • Access customer portals and upload customer orders into the Bosch system.
  • Upload and update customer forecasts in the Bosch system.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order and forecast data.

Operations & Logistics Coordination

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal Bosch production plants regarding orders and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up with logistics teams on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Support coordination of sample deliveries and new project-related shipments.

Inventory & Stock Monitoring

  • Support stock level monitoring and tracking against customer demand.
  • Assist in identifying potential stock gaps or excess inventory.
  • Support reporting related to inventory status and movement.

Project & Process Improvement Support

  • Support improvement projects and activities, such as enhancing stock level monitoring and reporting.
  • Coordinate and follow up on phase-out projects to ensure smooth transition and clearance.
  • Support phase-in activities, including new product introductions and sample deliveries.
  • Assist in Accounts Receivable (AR) process improvement projects.

Administrative & Coordination Support

  • Support internal company events and coordination activities.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and documentation as required.

Projects Exposure

  • Stock level monitoring improvement vs customer demand
  • Phase-out and phase-in project coordination
  • Sample delivery and new project support
  • Logistics and shipment coordination
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) process improvement
  • Internal event coordination

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn operational processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data tracking).
  • Exposure to or interest in SAP systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organized, and responsible attitude.
