[Bosch R&D - Internship] Test Tool Development Engineering Intern

Company Description

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

Low‑Code Application & Tool Development (70%)

  • Design, develop, and implement low-code applications, dashboards, and web-based features to support laboratory processes.
  • Maintain, enhance, and continuously improve existing lab applications.
  • Develop tools for managing, visualizing, and analyzing laboratory data.
  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for lab personnel.
  • Collaborate closely with Testing Engineers and lab personnel to understand requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
  • Perform application testing, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs to ensure stable and reliable functionality.
  • Document application logic, workflows, and data structures.
  • Create user guides and work instructions for developed applications.

 

Laboratory & Testing Support (30%)

  • Prepare test samples and support execution of different tests (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, …) under supervision
  • Support laboratory management activities, including 5S, safety compliance, inventory management, document control.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Interest or basic experience in low‑code / no‑code platforms, especially: Power Apps, Power BI
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of data handling or database concepts.
  • Good English speaking and writing skills, good at MS Office.
  • Analytical, proactive, and open‑minded working attitude.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical users.
