Job Description

The Incoming Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and validating semi-finished and finished materials received from external suppliers and internal departments, ensuring compliance with technical specifications before releasing them to the warehouse and production.

This role ensures adherence to company quality standards through dimensional, visual, and functional inspections, actively contributing to non-conformance management and continuous improvement of the supply process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming quality inspections on components and finished products
  • Approve or reject materials for warehouse release
  • Identify and manage non-conformities (NCs)
  • Collaborate with Quality Managers and suppliers on corrective actions
  • Manage returns and scrap according to internal procedures
  • Complete inspection documentation and reports

Qualifications

Technical Skills

Measurement & Metrology

  • Use of measuring instruments:
    • roundness tester
    • roughness tester
    • profilometer
    • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM / 3D)
    • TESA instruments
  • Ability to:
    • set up and operate measuring equipment
    • program measuring machines
    • interpret measurement results

Technical Knowledge

  • Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings:
    • dimensional and geometric tolerances
    • critical/functional dimensions
  • Knowledge of heat treatment and surface treatment processes:
    • understanding technical specifications
    • identifying treatments on drawings
    • verifying treatments using appropriate tools
  • Understanding of testing and inspection instructions

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Teamwork and communication with suppliers
  • Strong quality-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement
