Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Repair, Maintenance & Troubleshooting**
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to rectify equipment issues identified during inspections
  • Provide quick response and support in diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance problems
  • Track key performance indicators including MTBF, MTTR, and PMI completion rates
  • **Task Allocation & Team Management**
  • Allocate maintenance tasks, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to team members based on skill levels and equipment needs
  • Plan and conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
  • Supervise team performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • **Maintenance Reporting & Spares Planning**
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status to stakeholders
  • Track spare parts inventory and initiate procurement processes as needed
  • Monitor department SQCD targets and R&M budget compliance
  • **TPM Implementation & Continuous Improvement**
  • Drive TPM activities and best practices on the shop floor with focus on zero breakdown, zero quality issues, and zero safety deviations
  • Document and analyze maintenance trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for digital projects, cost reduction, and Kaizen initiatives

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing or Production Industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machines, VMC, and SPM (Turning, Grinding, Cleaning, Heat Treatment, Electrochemical Machines, etc.)
  • Proven experience in Preventive Maintenance (PM) planning and execution
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance KPIs including MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and PMI (Preventive Maintenance Index)
  • Experience in spare parts inventory management and procurement planning

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Certification or hands-on experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies and implementation
  • Experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and digital reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Kaizen principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience in equipment reliability analysis and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with focus on root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing environments

Additional Information

  • Advance knowledge and understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulics system
  • Advance knowledge in Diagnosis & Trouble shooting Ball screw, machine spindle assembly
  • Willingness to work in 3 shifts as FLM in maintenance
  • Knowledge in Root cause identification & correctives Actions.
  • Knowlege on SAP, TPM and mechanical safety.
