Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Evaluate and release materials and components for assembly and interconnection technologies
  • Drive new material qualification and process development
  • Assess material compatibility and process interactions
  • Ensure process validation and industrialization across all CM division plants
  • Collaborate with development teams and material suppliers in technical discussions
  • Define design rules for layout and process requirements
  • Specify and standardize process parameters and guidelines

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable field

Experience:

  • Experience in SMT manufacturing or semiconductor industry (ideally 3+ years)
  • Background in SMT-related materials (e.g., coatings, solder paste, PCB) is a plus

Know-how:

  • Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001) and component standards (e.g., AEC-Q100)
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
  • Good knowledge of IT tools (Office, CAD)

Languages:

  • Good English skills (written and spoken)

Working Style and Methods:

  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, able to work in simultaneous engineering environments

Personality:

  • Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset
