Job Description
The bioelectronics team works to develop new technologies for the Bosch Healthcare solutions business unit (www.bosch-healthcare.com). We work on cutting edge technologies in the field of molecular diagnostics and are seeking an engineer/scientist with strong experience in microfabrication to support development of new diagnostic platforms. The primary responsibilities will be investigating novel material deposition and etching parameters for engineering device prototypes.
Qualifications
Required Qualification:
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student (Bachelors, Master's or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (recent graduates will also be considered).
- Must have hands-on experience with microfabrication tools (Dry etching, PECVD, ALD, Wet Chemistry, Photolithography, Sputtering, etc.) and understand requirements for scalable manufacturing processes
- Must have excellent experimental design, data analysis / visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be a strong team player who can work independently with minimum supervision
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
Desired Qualification:
- Experience with Atomic Layer Deposition is a plus
- Experience with metal sputter and lift-off is a plus
- Experience with material composition metrology techniques is a plus (SEM, AFM)
- Background in biosensing is a plus

The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $26.00-$64.00 hourly. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
