Job Description
- Work closely with Production cells to prevent and resolve problems with products and/or tooling/fixtures/machinery
- Analyze and design manufacturing cells that conform to Lean Manufacturing standards
- Develop technical procedures for HydraForce manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot and isolate production failures
- Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences in the manufacturing process
- Collect data and develop technical reports based on production
- Support all current and new product introduction through the APQP process
- Ensure all manufacturing safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times
- Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through quality and efficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering preferred or experience in lieu
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required
- Experience in tool design and modifications, 3D Modeling a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Process-oriented mentality
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodology
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite Software
- Able to perform statistical analysis in Minitab
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $78,000-$86,000
