Job Description

The Vice President, Marketing is a senior executive leader responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for the Bosch Power Tools business in North America and the Dremel & Rotozip businesses globally. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, Power Tools North America, this role is accountable for setting unique, iconic brand positions for Bosch, Dremel, Sia & Rotozip and informing innovation strategy and product platform architecture.

This leader will own the Bosch brand, Dremel brand, Channel Marketing, Business Development, and Training organizations, ensuring a clear, integrated go-to-market strategy that accelerates growth, strengthens competitive position, and delivers measurable business impact.

The Vice President, Marketing directly shapes the competitive position, revenue trajectory, and brand equity of Bosch Power Tools North America and the global Dremel business. This leader ensures the organization wins through disciplined category strategy, superior commercialization, digital excellence, and deep customer and consumer understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute a clear, compelling marketing vision aligned with business strategy, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Translate market insights, customer data, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies that drive sustainable growth.
  • Institutionalize rigorous VOC systems across Pro and DIY segments.
  • Lead market analytics, demand forecasting, and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead with speed and decisiveness, setting clear priorities and direction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Brand & Portfolio Leadership

  • Own global stewardship of the Dremel brand and regional leadership of the Bosch Power Tools, Rotozip and Sia brands in North America.
  • Establish clear brand positioning, messaging, and activation are consistent, differentiated, and aligned with customer value propositions.
  • Strengthen brand equity while driving commercial outcomes across professional and DIY segments.
  • Own marketing operating budget with disciplined performance measurement.

Channel Marketing & Commercial Enablement

  • Lead channel marketing strategy across retail, e-commerce, and professional channels to drive demand, conversion, and loyalty.
  • Influence stage-gate decisions through market validation and pricing strategy.
  • Lead best-in-class go-to-market planning for product launches.
  • Establish commercialization playbooks that maximize velocity and channel penetration.
  • Ensure marketing investments deliver measurable ROI and support revenue and margin objectives.

Business Development & Training

  • Oversee and inform business development initiatives that identify and unlock new growth opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market.
  • Lead training and enablement strategies that build capability across internal teams, channel partners, and end users.
  • Ensure training programs reinforce brand value, product differentiation, and customer success.

Organizational Leadership & Capability Building

Lead a high-performance organization spanning:

  • Brand management
  • Category management
  • Channel & shopper marketing
  • Digital & eCommerce
  • Market Insights & Analytics
  • Business development
  • Training

Responsibilities include:

  • Building next-generation marketing capabilities (data, revenue management, digital, AI).
  • Developing succession pipelines and leadership bench strength.
  • Managing agency and partner ecosystem.
  • Establishing performance dashboards and accountability frameworks.
  • Driving a culture of speed, clarity, and measurable impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key member of the Power Tools North America leadership team, influencing enterprise-level decisions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and global counterparts to drive alignment and execution.
  • Represent Marketing with executive presence and credibility across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven executive leadership experience in marketing, preferably within durable goods, consumer products, or industrial/technical environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-brand and multi-channel marketing organizations at scale.
  • Strong track record of using market insights, customer knowledge, and data to drive growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience leading global or matrixed teams, with the ability to influence across regions and functions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change-management capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strategic, customer-centric thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Decisive and action-oriented, with the ability to lead with speed and clarity.
  • Inspiring people leader who develops talent and builds strong, engaged teams.
  • Collaborative partner who drives alignment while holding teams accountable for results.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively across global & local matrixed organizations for local impact while leveraging the best of the global capabilities.

Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000 to $285,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
