Job Description

  • During your assignment, you will develop Python-based automation solutions to collect and analyze ASIC project metrics (e.g., design and specification complexity, simulation data, synthesis results, verification coverage, regression quality).
  • You will integrate your tools into Linux-based development environments.
  • Furthermore, you will use AI-assisted detection methods to uncover anomalies and identify optimization opportunities.
  • You will contribute to dashboards that help hardware and software teams make fast, data-driven decisions.
  • Finally, you will collaborate with ASIC designers, verification engineers and project leads.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: strong Python skills; confidence working in Linux environments; experience in ASIC design flows, hardware development, or EDA tools is a plus
  • Personality and Working Practice: you excel at proactively identifying challenges, quickly learning new approaches, and transforming complex issues into elegant solutions
  • Work Routine: presence at the location is required
  • Enthusiasm: interest in AI, data analytics, automation, and performance optimization
  • Languages: very good in English

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 15 h/week
