Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, Cloud Management

  • Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.) with Event Management.

  • Design and maintain MID Servers and credentials for Discovery and Service Mapping.

  • Build and maintain CMDB with accurate and up-to-date configuration items (CIs).

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver ITOM solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve ITOM-related issues.

  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for seamless solution delivery.

Required Qualifications:

3–4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery patterns, and CI relationships.

Experience with Event Management and integrating with third-party monitoring tools.

Good grasp of Service Mapping concepts and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and PowerShell/scripting for automation.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM or Discovery.

  • Experience in Cloud Discovery and Cloud Management.

  • Exposure to ITOM Health (Health Log Analytics, AIOps).

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Additional Information

4+ years' experience in ServiceNow development.
